About Us

Welcome to our home… the beautiful, exciting and surprising Hunter Valley, where you will find your perfect holiday experience, no matter what time of year. Because we live and work locally, we are in the unique position of keeping our clients informed instantly on the best our area has to offer.

Who we are

We are a local publishing company that has provided our visitors with up to date information since 1999. We publish this website and two magazines that tell you all there is to know about our region. Make sure you ask your host for a copy upon your arrival; ‘Dining Out amongst the Vines’ and ‘Cellar Doors & More

What to do

The Hunter Valley is amazing, offering the best of gourmet experiences surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. On this website you will find information on many restaurants, catering for all occasions, set amongst the vineyards. Of course you must allow yourself time to sample our delicious wines at some 120 cellar door outlets, but gourmet travel is not all the Hunter has on offer.

Whilst following some of the wine trails as set out in our magazine, “Cellar Doors & More” and also available on our map page, you will find exquisite galleries, unique retail experiences, lusciously appointed day spas, pro-designed golf resorts and arguably Australia’s most beautiful gardens.

You can join a winery tour by minibus or 4WD vehicle or hire a tandem bike and ride the cycle paths to marvel at the vine covered landscape. enjoying the silence high up in the air in a hot air balloon or enjoy a horse trail ride.

Happenings

If that is not enough to tempt you to come and plan a visit, check out the events calendar in our 'Whats' On' section. The Hunter Valley has hosted world-class acts like Elton John, INXS, Paul Kelly, Carol King, The Beach Boys, John Farnham, Lionel Ritchie, Brian Ferry etc. Old time favourite music events like Jazz or Opera ‘in the Vines’ have brought thousands of music lovers to our region, and new events like the Gum Ball and the Ragamuffin Festival are announced regularly making the Hunter Valley the music bowl of New South Wales.

Weddings and conferences

With so much to offer in such beautiful surrounds it is no wonder we have also become a popular wedding destination and also attract a huge number of conferences and conventions every year.

Solitude and wildlife

The extraordinary thing about all this is that with so much to pack into your visit, you will find the solitude at most accommodation is incredible… you can experience total silence and feel a 1000 miles away from everywhere. You are sure to encounter our native wildlife. Kangaroos and wallabies are abundant in the Hunter and the birdlife is rich and colourful.

So, come with us and explore the Hunter Valley. You won’t be disappointed, plan your trip and stay a little longer…….

We love looking after you. Looking forward to seeing you here soon.
